System Mapping is used to understand the way a product or service functions, and what actions a user must take. It allows for a linear or multi-layered map to be created, showing front and backend interactions or requirements, but with a more loose framework and narrative approach than a blueprint.

This project was conducted as part of my masters thesis as a means to develop keen understanding of service systems that are changing ownership models. Car2Go offers a unique avenue into service models as they have shifted leasing into a daily activity.
